Road Warrior Truck Driving School Inc. was originally conceived by Kurt Stocker in 2014.  After 20 years in the trucking industry, Kurt made the transition to working with new drivers and quickly saw the need for higher quality instruction in the State of Michigan.  Knowing he could provide better instruction, Kurt decided to open his own truck driving school.  Immediately, Kurt sought after and obtained his Michigan Driver Education Instructor Certificate.  

Due to the over saturation of Truck Driving Schools in Southern Michigan, Kurt began to seek out an opportunity rich, underserved region to place his school in.  Almost immediately, Gaylord, Michigan with its central location and growing industry stood out as a prime region.

In 2014, Kurt Stocker relocated his family to the Gaylord area and began to assemble a professional team with the intentions of opening a truck driving school in 2015. Road Warrior Truck Driving School, Inc. offers a full-service path to obtain a class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) in the State of Michigan.  It is ultimately the goal of the company to be a one-stop facility for all commercial drivers’ needs, including but not limited to registration, license, drug test, driver's medical certification and road test. At this time, Road Warrior Truck Driving School, Inc. will mainly offer commercial driver education in the Gaylord, Michigan area.
